Job Description :
Qualification/ Skills:
Experience in implementing large data warehouse/ data mart solutions using IBM Cognos that includes the following:
o Experience of design, development, and implementation experience of complex reporting solutions using Cognos Suite 10.2 or later.
o Specific knowledge and experience regarding Business Report & Analytics development of DMR models in Cognos Framework Manager and dimensional reports in Cognos Report Studio.
o Experience with Cognos Framework Manager.
o Experience with Cognos Query Studio.
o Experience with Cognos Analysis Studio.
o Experience with Cognos Report Studio.
o OLAP & ROLAP model development.
o DMR model development in Cognos Framework Manager.
o Dimensional report development in Cognos Report Studio.
o PL/SQL and query optimization.
o PL/SQL script and stored procedure development and use.
o Design and development of dimensional models, star and snowflake schemas, and different data warehouse paradigms
o Cognos administration and security tasks
Strong experience in DB2 Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) including:
o Proficient in writing complex queries using SQL.
o Stored Procedures in DB2.
o Knowledge on Database constraints
Strong technical skills including understanding of software development life cycle – Design, Development, Unit testing and integration testing phases.
Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem solving.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
