Job Description ::
5+ years’ of Cognos knowledge and experience in full lifecycle development and deployment of BI reporting solutions
Proficient in Cognos 10.2.X object development, including reporting against dynamic cubes, dashboard reporting, standard reporting and report optimization. Significant exposure to Business Insight and Business Insight Advanced preferred
5+ years’ experience with Cognos Reporting / OLAP development and modeling
Hands on experience in developing in-memory multi-dimensional modeling solutions (Cognos dynamic cubes), Experience with automating dynamic cube builds preferred
2+ years’ experience designing advanced BI solutions such as executive performance dashboards.
Teradata database experience preferred
Working knowledge of dimensional data modeling and star schema design
Working knowledge of Cognos framework manager
Effective written and oral communications
Effective problem solving and analytical skills
Proven ability to participate as a project team member
Understanding of business systems and processes and their effect on BI solutions
Possesses a high and extensive level of technical skills, including database software applications
Experience working with high volume data sets, multi-dimensional cubes, etc.
Experience implementing BI solutions using Agile methodology is a plus
Experience implementing BI solutions sourced from ERP systems such as SAP is a plus
