Title: ??Cognos BI Developer
Location: 1401 Pacific Avenue Dallas, TX
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract with possible extension
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Intelligence Developerposition will assume a senior role in DART Technology’s Information Management and Analytics division.The individual will be part of the development team responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining the Business Intelligence infrastructure with major focus on IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1The Senior level BI Developer will work on upgrading, administering and maintaining DART’s Budgeting and Forecasting applications using IBM Cognos Enterprise Planning and IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1 He/Sheleads new analytical projects from concept through deployment and provides support for the production , project management, constructing functional designs, communicating with team members and business stakeholders, and supporting existing Business Intelligence applications.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance or a related field
2. Minimum 7 years’ experience in Information Management/BI industry
3. Extensive experience with implementing IBM Cognos Planning Analytics TM1 including cube building and use of Turbo Integrator
4. Experience with IBM Cognos Enterprise Planning
5. Experience in data warehouse and Business Intelligence architecture design and implementation
6. Strong knowledge of relational databases and the ability to understand data models, diagrams, and data relationships between application systems
7. Proven interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
8. IBM/Cognos TM1 Solution Developer certification a plus
9. Ability to use time effectively and efficiently
10. Ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas, verbally and in writing, in a matter that is clear, concise and understandable
