Required Skills:
8 years Experience developing/maintaining mainframe systems using COBOL, Easytrieve, JCL, and DB2
8 years Experience using secure FTP in a batch environment
8 years Experience working in an environment with TSO/ISPF, Z/OS and PARMLIB configurations
8 years Experience with troubleshooting and debugging mainframe applications
8 years Knowledge of techniques and methodologies relating to software quality assurance and testing through the full systems development lifecycle
8 years Ability to manage time, milestones, and be self-directed
8 years Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8 years The preferred candidate will have ITAS and Data power experience
Department: North Carolina Department of Revenue -IT
Description: The position will provide analysis, programming, testing, implementation and operational support for project work for the IT supported Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) mainframe business application system in use at the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
The employee must use established life cycle development phases and established software development and maintenance standards. The employee will perform all programming duties associated with a particular program or project.
