Technical/Functional Skills
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Hands on experience in Unix bash script, MapReduce understanding and working knowledge, sqoop framework, Hive, SQL, Spark framework, cloudera manager
Experience Required 10+
Roles & Responsibilities
Should have cloudera application and production support experience of minimum 6-8 years.
Very good at onshore and offshore team driven approach to support service delivery best value to clients
Manage day-to-day interactions with our customers with clear and honest expectation setting, friendly and collaborative disposition, aiming for the complete satisfaction of each customer
Triage, diagnose and potentially escalate customer inquiries during their engineering and operations efforts
Participate in occasional weekend on-call roster for critical support needs Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Must have exposure to debug problems and drive for getting root cause of the incidents related to cloud era environment.
Exceptional focus on application support with Incident management and problem management focus
Review changes for impact; implement changes with 100% success.
Should work as active team member and collaborative.
Should be able to write shell /perl scripts, decode existing scripts and modify as per requirements.
Focus on system stability and deliver SIP''s.
May not be in shifts however providing 24x7 supports on need basis.
Actively measure system status pre and post changes.
Ability to drive changes independently and Take decisions.
Performance review for changes.
In-depth knowledge of system / subsystems and its integrations.
Should be able to mentor team members and build team under you.
Status reporting to Onshore Delivery Management.

Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. Master''s degree is a plus.
