Mandatory Qualifications
To be initially scored as pass/fail. Thereafter, proposals where the resource meets the Mandatory Qualifications will be scored in part on the extent to which the resource exceeds these mandatory minimums. See RFO Evaluation Process, below. At a minimum, a proposed resource must meet the following mandatory qualifications. Resource submissions that do not clearly demonstrate that these mandatory qualifications are met will not be considered under this RFO.
Propose an hourly rate at or below vendor’s Maximum Hourly Rate for the Architecture SITE category
Three years’ experience administering a production scale CDH environment using Cloudera Enterprise Manager
Three years combined experience with support/maintenance of HDFS or Hbase
Three years’ experience administering a Cloudera Hadoop Ecosystem
Three years’ experience with a configuration management/deployment tool for Hadoop
Five years combined experience with Linux/Unix administration
Three years combined experience optimizing and troubleshooting a Hadoop environment
Desired Skills
Proposed resources that meet the Mandatory Qualifications will be evaluated on the following Desired Skills. Responder should demonstrate in its proposal the length, depth, and applicability of the proposed resource’s prior experience in the Desired Skills below.
Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH) certification
Experience administering an Oracle Big Data Appliance
Experience with one or more languages (Java, Python, Scala, SQL, etc
Experience with Relational database design and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Experience with SSL and Kerberos configuration of all Hadoop services
Experience with computer networks including firewalls
Experience administering an Oracle Engineered System
Experience working on multiple projects and various environments and platforms based on changing priorities
