Job Description:
This Cloud Engineer will apply their Azure infrastructure knowledge in a highly-energized, fast-paced, and innovative startup environment.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in a Azure cloud focused role
Rockstar Cloud tools experience – what, where, why, and how to deploy – to support consistently emerging projects and platforms
Proven experience in a leadership capacity in both normal and crisis operations
Able to excel in a fast moving, startup environment – Agile, DevOps, etc
Passionate, self-starter, quick learner, and proactive
Strong Azure networking experience: Knowledge of network protocols, Understanding of networking principles and security best practices, Express Route, ARM templates, Internal/External Load balancers, Traffic Manager, Virtual Network Appliances (Firewalls, Routers), Network Security Groups, Understanding of Routing (Static/BGP)
Experience with Azure AD (RBAC, ADFS/ADConnect, AAD Applications and Service Principals)
Linux experience (shell scripting experience)
Experience with Secure Key Management
Experience with infrastructure monitoring
Experience with infrastructure as code (Powershell, Azure CLI, JSON (ARM Templates), Terraform)
Experience in Configuration Management
Experience with Azure IaaS and Paas (HDInsight experience preferred)
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
