Description: An experienced Cloud Security Engineer with a focus on Cloud Vulnerability Management is needed on the Enterprise Security Platforms Cyber Analytics Engineering team. The role is suited to an experienced DevOps Engineer with security, software development and product deployment experience. The role will focus on extending the firm?s Vulnerability Management program to achieve cloud control objectives, and will involve solution architecture, engineering, and development to achieve automation and integration with firm systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

Research, architect, engineer and deploy vulnerability scanning platforms in AWS and other cloud environments.
Complete environment configuration, automation, build, and documentation tasks with a focus on reliability and ongoing supportability
Develop tools and scripts to enable automation in configuration management, vulnerability data processing, and cloud platform integration via API scripting
Work with global colleagues from both internal and external teams throughout the organization to provide solutions via ongoing communications and consistent processes
Research and evaluate solutions for Container-based vulnerability detection
Participate in technology evaluations and play an active role in suggesting improvements based on technology trends, best practices, and industry standards
Required Skills:

3+ years DevOps experience and the development of tools for automation and end-user process improvement
2+ years experience with AWS or a comparable cloud provider
Knowledge of cloud platform design, virtual machine deployment with a focus on problems at scale
4+ years Scripting and development skills in Python with deep comprehension of good code design, regular expressions, process management and performance
Knowledge of AWS security controls
Strong Linux Systems Administration experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities as a flexible, self-driven team member
Strong task management and organizational skills
General networking and security knowledge in areas such as Firewalls, TCP/UDP, Routing/Switching, DNS, NAT, Packet Tracing and Analysis
Ability to demonstrate broad exposure to various technologies
Preferably in a global environment in the finance industry or an industry at a similar scale
Desired Skills:

Experience with Vulnerability Management platform administration (Qualys preferred)
Knowledge of common configuration management and continuous integration tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible and Jenkins
Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools
Knowledge or experience with security areas such as Container security, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and Common Platform Enumeration(CPE)
SDLC experience using systems such as JIRA and Git
