On behalf of our client Procom Services is looking for a Cloud Network Engineer with hands on skills and experience with AWS and Azure based application hosting. Experience modernizing and re-platforming legacy systems. Accelerate build out of VPCs and VNETs in AWS/Azure for banking client in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Hot Skill: Cloud, IAAS, PAAS, Application re-factoring, Application re-architecture.

- Validate core AWS/Azure infrastructure readiness and drive configuration, performance, and ops remediation activities (e.g. ELB, RDS, SQL, AD, jump servers, file transfer, backup and restore)
- Implement and test Tier 1 & 2 DR patterns
- Execute architecture / engineering re-alignments for previously migrated apps (e.g. DEV VPC, domain updates, ELB retrofit)
- Support DMZ gateway creation and Direct Connect deployments / conversions (as part of Equinix roll-out)
- Validate network readiness post-Equinix deployment and drive configuration, performance and ops remediation activities
- Build / configure Azure South Central / Virginia VPN
- Create / enhance operational support processes / checklists for new / existing services to existing services to ensure applicability and readiness
