Position: Cloud/Microservices Architect with PCF
Location: Plano TX

Job Details:
Provide expert technical leadership to customers and partners regarding all aspects of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
Understanding of Cloud Native Application design principles (12factor.net)
Must have 6+ Years’ experience in Spring MVC, JSON, AJAX, JDBC, JPA/ORM framework
Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Ops Mgr, preferably certified with Cloud Foundry
Familiarity with Build packs, Service Brokers, Loggregator, Firehose, Drains
Familiarity with Cloud Foundry Command Line Interface
Experience in at least SOA based applications in Java, .NET; preferred would be microservices based apps and architecture
Understanding of Cloud Native application design 12-Factors Principles
Experience in building microservices-style and cloud based architectures
Exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry Hands-on experience with Spring projects including Spring Boot Framework, Cloud, Batch etc.
Understanding of Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
5+ years’ experience in System’s Engineering
3+ years’ experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry
7+ years’ of experience in Unix/Linux administration and Shell Scripting
2+ years’ experience working on or leading agile development teams (ideally leveraging
Scrum or Kanban)
2+ years’ knowledge of platform as a service products, such as Cloud Foundry, Open Shift, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
4+ years’ experience with Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, Team City, and other Continuous Integration tools
3 to 5 years of experience with Spring, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration,
Spring Data
Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models
Experience working on a team delivering a customer facing product
Enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working on a highly collaborative team
Excellent communication/collaboration skills
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Secondary Skill
2+ years OpenStack, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud experience
2+ years’ experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, or related automation / orchestration tools
Some experience working with DNS, NTP, SAML, oAuth 2, Active Directory
Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (NewRelic, App Dynamics, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, vROPS, Datadog, etc
Manage & customize Cloud Foundry Build packs & Services
Work with Application Development teams to understand their application architecture and
ensure the Platform is supporting these requirements.
Work with application architects to educate and enable them to build applications that leverage the platform according to best practices.
Work with Platform Operations team to coordinate rolling out of new PCF Build packs and Services
