Job Description :
Lead Cloud Application Portfolio Analysis on existing applications and systems to determine suitability to migrate to the cloud
Lead Application Detailed Analysis to recommend both tactical and strategic recommendations to optimize cost of application to run on cloud
Lead AWS cloud architecture design and the implementation
Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on AWS
Perform analysis on existing applications and systems to determine suitability to migrate to the cloud
Work with BA to create Business Case for Cloud Migration
Work with Cloud PM to create migration plan
Implement PCI standards in to the cloud migration framework
Design and implement cloud foundation services on AWS
Design and implement monitoring and logging processes, tools for cloud infrastructure and applications (stackdriver, newrelic, splunk etc)
Oversee cloud infrastructure and application deployments automation ( terraform, cloud formation scripts)
Provide oversight on DevOps pipeline architecture and implementation
Assist Cloud Operations Business Analyst to assess current operations processes and provide recommendations to evolve in cloud
Provide technical oversight, review and quality control of technical artifacts throughout the project
Optimize cloud deployments
Key Skills:
Cloud migration experience with AWS at the enterprise level organization
16-18 years Industry experience, 5+ years on AWS design and Implementation experience
Customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer’s environment
AWS Solution Cloud Architect – Professional level preferred; Associate level mandatory
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud products and services (Compute engine, projects, cloud storage etc
Understanding of containers and platforms (e.g. OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes etc) Storage Technologies, and networking concepts
Understanding of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
Experience in developing solutions for highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services
Experience with Linux/Unix (e.g. basic command line file, system navigation, etc
Experience with processes, load, system constraints, and with related programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, .NET, Node.js.
Nice to have: Experience with cloud migration tools (cloudamize, racemi, appzero, etc
