Job Description :
We are looking for a full-time CLoud Virtualization Engineer to secure the engineering process and also automate the onboarding of virtual machines to our Fortune 500 client’s private cloud. This person should be comfortable managing DevOps projects, cloud solutions, automating virtual machines, and continuous integration continuous delivery (CI/CD
You will work hand in hand with current Solution Architects we have in place to develop an organization-wide program to ensure a secure development environment for engineering teams.
You will quickly gain trust and credibility with the development teams and site managers to establish a sense of leadership, organization, and direction.
You will work with the engineering teams to drive this project to increase security in each of the separate technology pillars, using DevOps methodologies, while keeping the entire technical organization in mind.
Ensure projects are kept on track, issues and risks are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Experience with securing a development environment and delivery processes in an Engineer/Design capacity
Experience in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or private cloud.
IT design experience working with Project Managers and development teams in an engineering environment.
Experience with VMWare and VMWare Cloud products
Consulting mindset with the ability to collaborate with the business, customers, and team members
Preferred:
Technical experience in network-based security controls, virtualization, cloud environments, testing, and automation
DevOps transformation experience
Experience implementing a cloud solution in an enterprise environment
BS degree
