Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)/Openshift is preferred
Working experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of automation principles and design (Java, Python, Ruby, BASH, JavaScript, Shell, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl)
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Salt)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Groovy, Maven, Spinnaker and others
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of deployment release management tools (Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo)
Preferred Skills: (NICE TO HAVES) & Required Soft Skills:
Experience with installation, configuration, and management of log collection and aggregation tools like Splunk and ELK
Experience with databases like Relational DB (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and No SQLs Cassandra, Kafka, ElasticSearch
Experience with MySQL, Redis, Elastic Search, MongoDB, and/or NoSQL would be a plus
Knowledge of Oracle BRM/Enterprise Business Suite (EBS), WebLogic, Glassfish, Tomcat, Nginx
Experience with container frameworks like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux containers, etc
Good working experience with Git, GitHub, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, NPM
Ability to think independently and contribute as a member of a productive team
Intermediate to advanced at transaction level monitoring
Intermediate to advanced knowledge with configuring monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Node Exporter, ELK stack
Experience in RESTFUL API calls to troubleshoot issues
Proficiency or Knowledge of networking/firewall/ACL/VIP/Load Balancer/DNS/LDAP/ADFS
Experience in analyzing JVM related issues
Strong knowledge on Linux operating system commands to perform daily activities
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of clustering, virtualization, high availability configurations, security principles, performance tuning, capacity planning, server hardening, load balancers, and firewalls
Ability to communicate technical information and ideas so that others will understand
Critical reasoning and complex problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
