Title : Cloud Devops consultant
Duration : 6-12+ months
Location: Rockville, MD
Ø Develop, configure and administer DevOps and ALM solutions.
Ø Software Configuration Management and Build Management
Ø Build Automation and Continuous Integration Concepts Jenkins using Ant/Maven
Ø Evaluation and integration of IT systems and development tools, and replace where needed.
Ø Identify and address system performance bottlenecks in high availability environments.
Ø Evangelize best practice DevOps and Agile
Ø Perform configuration management duties and develop infrastructure automation code.
Ø Identify and address system performance bottlenecks in high availability environments.
Ø Provide technical support to development teams during troubleshooting of issues.
Essentials Skills:
Ø Experience in Software Configuration Management and Build Management.
Ø Firm experience with Linux and cloud infrastructure(e.g. AWS) in building high available, scalable and secured DevOps systems
Ø Excellent knowledge on CI / CD tools like Jenkins
Ø Complete knowledge on the below tools and experience implementing it in an integrated fashion
o JIRA, Git, Bit Bucket, Maven, Jenkins, Artifcatory
Ø Experience with automation tools for deployments, provisioning: Ansible, Chef
Ø Experience with container management - Docker / Docker Swarm
Ø Extensive experience on Build Automation and Continuous Integration Concepts with Hudson, Jenkins using Ant/Maven, ivy/Nexus repository.
Ø Familiar with Agile and Kanban development methodology
Ø Familiar with working in quality regulated industries and aligning automation to quality system guidelines
Ø Outstanding collaboration, teamwork and servant leadership skills
Ø Good planning, oral and written communication skills
