This is for the ongoing Cloud Transformation project.There is not a set title, so I am calling it a Cloud Data Migration Engineer/Consultant, but you could even call it a MySql or PostgeSQL DBA.
This role will help lead the effort to migrate data centers and data bases from on prem to the cloud. They ideally want someone who has done this to GCP, but open to AWS as well. Candidates must have extensive experience with SQL and PostgreSQL.
My client is open to partial or full remote for the right candidate. Also, all candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Seeking an experienced data professional who has experience migrating data centers and moving databases from on prem to the cloud as part of an ongoing cloud transformation project in Irvine.
Required Skills:
Experienced migrating data to the cloud – GCP preferred, but AWS ok
Certified in GCP or AWS
Extensive experience working with PostgreSQL & MySQL
Strong knowledge of cloud native technologies
