Cloud Architect
Location: San Mateo, CA (Bay area)
Duration: 2 years
Rate cap: Competitive rate
Contract Preference: W2 (or) 1099 (or) Corp-Corp
Services requested:
The selected consultant will advise the team and provide Subject Matter Expertise in Cloud architecture and migration practices.
1. Train staff on Cloud Technologies
2. Architect a Private and Public Cloud
3. Document the SMC Cloud
4. Train staff on Application movement between the Counties Private and Public
5. Assist with the creation of Cloud dashboards
6. Provide guidance on security issues
7. Assist with developing a chargeback or tiered service model.
The consultant must be available to work on-site in Redwood City at least once per week. Experience with both Azure and AWS is required. Knowledge of commercial and government clouds is a plus.
Consultants to provide:
1. Description of relevant experience in the area of cloud computing.
2. Biosketch for any proposed consultant(s
3. Reference accounts where similar services were provided.and policy compliance.
