Skills: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting solutions using AWS Cloud.
Client is expanding its enterprise infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS This will allow client to begin developing new systems, modernizing legacy systems, and migrating existing systems from an on-premise enterprise infrastructure to an off- premise enterprise cloud environment. This effort is expected to eventually deliver cost- savings to client with the reduction of the on-going operational costs of hardware and software required to maintain the two Data Centers.
Client requires technical expertise to design, architect and deploy the Client AWS environment. This contract will provide a full-time senior level AWS Cloud Architect to assist in the analysis, design, implementation, support and maintenance of the AWS environment and provide knowledge transfer and training to State staff on new information technologies as they are implemented.

AWS Certified Professional Solutions Architect (certification must be current
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (certification must be current
Minimum two years of comprehensive experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting solutions using the AWS Cloud.
Experience with standing up and deploying an AWS Landing Zone in a customer account.
Experience with developing custom Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and roles for customers.
Experience with implementing AWS published IAM best practices.
Experience with designing and implementing public facing and private facing Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs
Experience with implementing an automated provisioning framework using AWS CloudFormation, and/or related tools/service to develop and deploy infrastructure as code for a full stack three-tier application.
Experience with implementing and deploying into production AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF), including writing and deploying rules.
Experience with implementing Service Catalog.
Experience with implementing AWS automation using AWS Lambda and System Manager Automation and onboard customer into related operational roles.
Experience with implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tooling within AWS in a customer account.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) Domain, Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and patch and backup solutions.
Demonstrable expertise with RDS, Redshift, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EMR, Glue, S3, EC2, Athena, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, ECS, EKS, DMS, X-Ray, Inspector, Config and Config Rules, EC2 Systems Manager, KMS, Route 53, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager, include API and CLI access where applicable.
