Position : Cloud Architect
Location : NYC
duration : 12 months
Job Responsibility:
Cloud Architect to build BI/Data Analytics platform. They should have experience with AWS Redshift or GCP Big Query etc Ask them if they experience in developing BI solutions.
Responsible for developing next gen data analytics platform in cloud using cloud native technologies.
As part of projects, owns the creation of the cloud specific solution architecture(s) needed to deliver the desired outcome, which includes:
o Identifying the systems/platforms required to achieve the end-to-end solution and creating a solution context diagram
o Designing the new systems along with interface definitions to existing systems
o Identifying the dependencies between various components of the solution and ensuring the systems/platform owners can deliver the solution on time
o Providing an alternative solution if any system/platform owner delivery timeline doesn’t match the project timeline.
Drives Cloud Native Architecture principles
Creates solution artifacts and presents them to the senior technical stakeholders
Break solutions into work streams and tasks. Coordinates with every platform/system owner involved in the overall solution.
Reviews code and advises if a need arises due to some major project roadblock.
Required Experience/Skillsets:
13+ years relevant experience in the IT industry, Demonstrable detailed understanding of architecture principles and methods, technology and standards. Minimum 4+ years’ experience delivering cloud solutions on AWS/GCP.
Able to Demonstrate detailed understanding of architecture principles and methods, technology and standards
Able to demonstrate detailed understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
Able to demonstrate detailed understanding of cloud automation and orchestration approaches and tools
Able to demonstrate detailed understanding of integration architectures including network and identity management approaches
Highly motivated by creating business value through the effective use of technology
Utilizes research and self-learning to ensure technical credibility
Familiar with industry changes in technology standards, information management, development standards, methods and emerging third party software in order to advise on technology and leverage industry best
Able to effectively communicate solution architectures along with reasons behind approach
Strong communication (written & verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions across all levels of the corporation, including system users, senior management, technical personnel and consultants.
