Job Description :
*Job Title: Cloud Architect - USC, GC Only*
*Job Location: Bethesda, MD*
*Duration: 6 months Contract to hire*
*Experience: 10 Years*
*Mandatory Skills:*
Experience designing and implementing Cloud architecture for new
cloud computing systems or migrating existing systems to cloud
architectures.
Experience working with AWS to execute migrations or new
applications to include logical system design; I/O design; cloud
architecture analysis and design; and systems engineering.
Demonstrated expertise building technical roadmaps for AWS cloud
implementations.
Maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for ongoing operations to
provide required system up time SLAs and meet system throughput
requirements.
Define, plan and create a schedule of system maintenance
activities and upgrades without impacting the operational business needs.
Experience working closely with security engineers or other staff
to ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
Demonstrated strong Linux system administration and shell
scripting skills. Should have good understanding of system performance
monitoring and tuning
*Experience deploying infrastructure with Terraform*
AWS Certification(s)
Knowledge of Data Analytics, Kafka, Spark programming is a plus.
