Job Role: Cloud (AWS) Automation Engineer
LOCATION: Boston, MA (still need to be open to up to 75% travel)
LENGTH: 6 months +
Visa: USC, GC
Interview Mode: First 2 are telephone; last interview(s) are phone or Skype
Travel
· All candidates MUST be open to the 75% travel even though it is not always the case.
· 75% on client sites
· 25% from a home-based office (Based anywhere in the country)
Skills
· Communication skills are extremely the key to the client.
· The Key is they need a SME Advising consultant. (SEE BELOW FOR DESCRIPTION OF “Consultant”) – Also someone from an integration or implementation company

Job Description
As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you will be working under the direction and guidance of Senior Cloud Automation Engineer team members and possesses the ability to be a self-starter and highly motivated.

Desired Skills & Experience
The Cloud Automation Engineer must have relevant knowledge of the following tooling areas:
· Source Code Control (Git)
· Scripting languages (Ruby, Python)
· Markup languages (YAML, JSON)
· CloudFormation and Terraform
· Configuration Management (Chef and/or Ansible)
Responsibilities
· Must be able to handle complex work tasks and deliverables and apply best practices in the resolution of technical challenges
· Must have a creative, innovative approach to solving complex technical challenges, while collarborating and communicating effectively within the team for consistency in approach
· Must be able to comprehend, modify and write CloudFormation and/or Terraform deployment templates
· Must be able to communicate verbally and/or in writing, and interact with client team members
· Must be able to manage a queue of backlog activities and seeks guidance on proritization of work tasks
