Position: Client Services Analyst
Location: Houston,TX
Duration: 1 Year


The Client Services Analyst is an important role to help manage service delivery to our customers. The responsibilities of the position will include customer support for software and data issues; data mapping, loading, and integration; troubleshooting data and software errors; providing client training and software user acceptance testing. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry and the critical role played by accurate data over the lifecycle of a well. An understanding of database structure and SQL is a plus.
· Implement and support of master data management solutions incorporating applications
· Manage the timely and accurate loading of data through daily and one time jobs at multiple client sites
· Document, track and resolve data quality issues
· Provide data analysis and mapping into and from a PPDM database
· Identify and document software bugs and other issues
· Initiate ideas for improvements and new functionality for our software
· Contribute to testing of new software
· Occasional travel may be required
· Degree or experience in oil industry related field with a strong technical emphasis
· Proven problem-solving ability and experience focusing on detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Positive, pro-active, inquisitive, solution-oriented work attitude
· Motivated self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
· Team player, able to share knowledge, responsibility and recognition for results achieved
· Ability to deal well with a dynamic environment, time pressure and change
· Command of Microsoft Office and Google Apps including Word, Excel, Gmail and Gdocs
· Understanding of Oracle or SQL Server database technology is a plus
· Experience in data mapping and loading is a plus
