Position : Sr. Business Analyst

Job Description:
APIs knowledge:
? Working with the Integration team to architect and support both cloud Azure and OnPremise integration and error reporting solutions
? Working with SQL Server and related technologies to allow the creation of and the support of data migrations and transformations
? Designing solutions with the Integration team using Azure cloud technologies and appropriate leading-edge technologies such as elastic search and cloud
transformation tools
? Creating, maintaining and versioning API’s in the Azure management layer
? Use and examine current transformation technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV and SQL
? Aid and support the Business Infrastructure Manager and Senior Developer to version and support modern ETL systems using cloud based tools and connectors
? Prepare and architect systems to provide data to partners, universities, portals and websites using technologies such as Azure cloud search and inbound APIs
? Creating error logging and reporting solutions and delivering to customers and partners
NRT Data Movement or Big Data Movement knowledge:
? Create design specifications, perform unit testing and prepare technical documentation.
? Design, develop and implement solutions based on standards and processes that establish consistency across the enterprise data, reduce risk, and promote efficiencies in support of the organization''s goals and objectives .
? Perform complexExtract, Transform, Load ("ETL") coding. The ideal candidate will have designed, developed and implemented software solutions in support of data quality and automation. The candidate will also possess technical skills and experience in the data management domain that will help their ability to design and develop elegant and efficient data processes and systems.
? Solid, quantifiable experience in using ETL tools, Data Modeling ERD-Dimensional modeling tools such as ERWin, and RDBMSs such as Oracle, AWS Redshift, and MS SQL Server databases.
? Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQLs
? Expert understanding slowly changing dimensions (SCD''s), join logic and query optamization.
? Experience in handling both on premise and on Cloud (AWS) ETLs.
? Expert in using real time and batch web services using web services hub.
? Experience with stored procedures, Triggers, PL/SQL in Oracle.
? Development knowledge and experience with most or all of the following languages and specifications: XML, XML Schema, XPath, XQuery, JSON with informatica toolset.
? Query tuning , tuning ETL integration using Query Plans, Indexing, Partitioning etc
? Experience in agile Software development and JIRA
? Function as a consultant and contributor on enterprise projects to provide data analysis, design, modeling, and implementation support to project teams.
? Gather technical and business requirements, develop customized solutions and manage customer expectations.
? Strong and evolving competence in several programming languages and technologies, working knowledge of multiple tools sets, technologies and implementation environments
Preferred Skills:
? Minimum 5-7 years demonstrated experience with APIs and NRT Data Movement Platform and Big Data Movement
? 5 - 7 years of experience in software systems development and programming,
? Experience working with heterogeneous data systems (Oracle, SQL Server, AWS RedShift, XML,Json, flat file, etc
? Can work as Technical Business Ananlyst
? Familiar with database analysis, design, architecture and programming.
? Experience with real time oracle change data capture using Informatica power exchange.
? Experience with Cloud based technologies such as AWS Redshift
? Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team environment
? Ability to focus on the goals of quality, time and budget
? Ability to work independently and have strong problem solving and analytic skills
? Ability to support production jobs on nights and weekends.
? Positive attitude; desire to learn new things, teach others and continuously improve
Education/Certifications:
? Possess a Bachelor''s degree in a computer science, plus additional related college courses or professional training certifications.
