Job Title: Cassandra DBA
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have a university degree or equivalent experience.
7-8 years hands-on database administration related work
experience with a focus on Cassandra .
Demonstrated experience with NoSQL concepts, practices, and
procedures.
Must have knowledge in a broad range of web applications using
Cassandra / NoSQL software stack hosted on common Linux platforms .
Operational experience of all aspects of Cassandra; e.g.,
tuning, backup, rebalance, add/remove nodes, monitoring, Keyspaces and
column families .
Debug queries and performance issues.
AT&T or other wireless experience industry experience is A+.
