Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
Should have in-depth knowledge of Cassandra databases architecture and internals Installation for Cassandra infrastructure.
Cassandra Administration, hands on experience with 2-3 live projects
Knowledge of replication, backup, and disaster recovery design
Knowledge of system sizing, capacity planning and performance tuning.
Good understanding of Linux/VM platform
Experience with Unix/Linux OS platform and Unix Shell/Perl scripting and automation
Should have in-depth knowledge of Cassandra databases architecture and internals.
Should have the ability to conceptualize and provide Cassandra database solutions based on client requirements.
Analyses, tests and implements physical Database design to support and install Cassandra clusters.
Troubleshoots issues and errors related to Cassandra database.
Provides upgrading, patching, cloning, tuning, and other daily activities on the Cassandra systems.
Defines metrics to monitor of policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.
Analyses, tests, and implements physical database design supporting Cassandra retail models.
Provides daily Cassandra database technical administration and support, including processing change management
requests, monitoring, performance tuning and database cloning.
Performs software upgrades and patches of Cassandra and plans the installation and configuration.

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
Proficient at scripting using at least two languages: bash, sh, python, ruby, etc.
Knowledge in Airline Domain
Experience in Big Data Tools- SAM,Druid,Pheonix
