Description of position and Primary Responsibilities:

The DoD Capture Manager has a strong DoD and Federal Civilian network,
and has demonstrated a strong track record of achieving/exceeding
revenue targets by closing a high percentage of assigned opportunities.
This requires supporting the development of a strong proposal and
driving revenues that meet or exceed assigned targets. The Capture
Manager will develop a comprehensive understanding of Client s offerings
and services, financial drivers and imperatives, and develop and
maintain relationships that benefit Client.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Meet potential customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging
your strong network
* Identify potential customers, and the decision makers within the
customer organization
* Research and build relationships with new customers
* Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential
* Use exceptional negotiation skills to attract and retain key teammates
* Set up and participate in meetings between customer decision makers
and company s leadership and subject matter experts
* Participate in the development of Account Plans, Capture Plans, and
Gate Review documents
* Lead the capture team in developing solutions and proposals that
speak to the customer s needs, concerns, and objectives
* Participate in pricing the solution/service
* Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working
through differences to a positive conclusion
* Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
* Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate
* Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the
company s CRM
* Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to
meet these targets
* Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company s
people and capabilities
* Attend industry functions, such as association events and
conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and
creative trends
* Present to and consult with management on business trends in the DoD
and Federal Civilian space
* Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution
channels that will lead to an increase in revenues
* Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop
the company s unique selling propositions and differentiators
* Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs

Position Requirements:

* Bachelor''s degree
* Five years of Federal Government Capture or Business Development
* Excellent organizational, written, and oral communications skills
* Knowledge of US Federal and DoD contracting
* Seasoned business acumen and impeccable ethics

Preferred Skills:

* Business operations/management experience delivering technical or
management consulting services to federal customers
* Experience with successfully marketing to federal civilian and
defense agencies

This is a full time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and
has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
