Role Summary
This position is for a Technical lead role on the Imaging Platform. The technical lead will play a vital role in maintenance, new functionality requirements, and increasing automation within the OpenText (formally EMC) Captiva application. The candidate will provide full life cycle analysis, development, support and complex problem resolution that meets customer requirements and SLAs. Possesses a working knowledge of end-to-end business and IT processes related to one or more application. Work as part of an IT support team with other technology leaders, development staff and technical/business analysts to create technical solutions. Communicate progress, technical issues, and issue resolution.
Role Summary:
Leads, defines and is accountable for the overall design, development and support of complex applications
Deliver successful implementation of projects and timely service of production applications
Create robust, high quality technical solutions for business and technology customers
Partners with various groups and users to ensure quality experience, and effectively manages enterprise impacts
Participates in delivery of fully tested applications or components of more complex applications for System and Acceptance Testing
Performs application and technical problem solving including advice, guidance and mentoring to staff
Identify and support resolution of risks that could impact ability to deliver results within the stated objectives
Coordinate formal Integration Testing (IT) and ensure testing is compliant with the approved integrations test plan and expected results
Create and execute implementation plan for technical deliverables as well as providing production support
Document the technical requirements, design, and testing information to ensure quality output that meets stated business needs
Create and modify technical processes, designs, and solutions as required
Required Skills:
5+ years Captiva Customization/Development experience at a large organization.
Experience in development with C#/VB.net as well as Captiva Capture Flow Designer
Experience in development and support of a Captiva environment scanning 10+ million pages/year
Experience with Captiva in Microsoft Cluster environment.
Experience with Captiva in Scale Server environment.
Experience with Reveille monitoring
Experience with Captiva Web Services.
Should have experience with Captiva Architecture and .NET architecture.
Should have experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Strong Organizational Skills, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple competing tasks.
Strong Leader – able to provide guidance, code review, coaching for developers and support personnel.
