Job Title :- Camera Application Developer
Job Overview :- The Multimedia Camera System group creates embedded camera and imaging solutions for chipsets that power todays most advanced mobile devices. With dedicated hardware, multi-core processors and GPU, our imaging solutions achieve state of the art video/photo quality, and also target applications requiring image understanding, object detection/recognition and augmented reality. We seek Systems Engineers with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience with system modeling for design verification & validation, pre-Si emulation support for FW & SW. Experience with complex SoC designs for mobile camera designs with a signal processing background is preferred. Proficiency modelling behavior/function ASIC designs for IP verification in linux & Windows environments Candidates with strong analytical & problem solving skills with a background experience with C/C++ modeling of complex SoC design. Experience with large codebase integration & testbench automation will be a definite advantage Prior work experience may be relaxed if candidate shows proficiency in the must-have job requirements
Minimum Qualification :- Modeling Proficient in C/C++ ASIC behavioral modelling & debugging under both Windows & linux Good understanding of micro-architecture constraints for behavioral modelling Working knowledge of scripting tools (perl, make, shell & python) for process automation Proficiency with version control tools (P4) & code-tip maintenance using test automation (ABT) Project management Should be capable of independent work within a fast-paced & collaborative environment with geographically & functionally distributed teams IP FxP design & modeling data-path & verification testbench framework Design verification of complex HW via C/C++ models
Preferred Qualification:- SW & FW pre-Si emulation platform experience Proficient in C/C++ on Windows using VS2013 IDE Signal processing with a focus on image & color signal processing SoC design experience (systems design, verification support)
Education :- Required: Bachelors in Engineering/computer science. Preferred: Master's in Engineering/computer science.
