Calibration Engineer

Nature of position- Contract
Performing calibration tuning work for off highway midrange engines.
Matlab and controls system knowledge is important to have
OBD calibration Development for engine and aftertreatment features
Conducting calibration tuning and validation for both diagnostics and engine features.
Performing calibration testing on vehicle, Dyno test cell and test bench to validate the functionality of features and diagnostics.
Tracking & management DCR (Design Change Requests), software requirements gathering, track and control DVP&R tasks and its ownership across the organization for different engine programs using PTC Integrity tool.
Working extensively on tuning and validation of backup thermocouple/replacement logics for DOC, DPF and SCR sensor processing failure to continue dosing and machine regeneration.
Performing diagnostic development and tuning activities through CUMMINS 3 step processes.
Performing Model Based Testing using CUMMINS proprietary tools, MATLAB and CANalyzer.
Participating in subject matter experts group for Off-highway after-treatment sensors future capabilities.
Conducting field test unit installations, field test data analysis, and troubleshooting fault codes in the field.
Good to have :->
Developing automated test sequences witan in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
Generating statistical analysis of quality and requirements traceability matrices.
Process knowledge of Sprint management, Tools knowledge of PTC integrity could be useful.
