Job Description :
Worked as hands-on test engineer / automation engineer for atleast 10+ years of experience
Excellent understanding of regression testing, concepts of regression in CD/CI
Hands-on implementation knowledge in Test driven development, Test data creation, data driven testing
Hands-on experience in functional automation engineering tools like HP UFT, Selenium tools, Smart Bear.
Good understanding of enterprise level large scale distributed systems, Integration testing concepts, API testing using Postman, SoapUI and the like
Debugging complex system issues by analysing large scale data, system logs and query database for auditing test issues
Strong troubleshooting skills with excellent analytical background
Experience in implementing virtualization tools and VM implementation using tools like SmartBear, VMWARE virtualization and the like
Good understanding of Akamai’s DNS infrastructure; how to protect it from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, technical knowledge of circuit-breaker policy implementations and targeted testing of these implementations
Full-stack testing knowledge across multiple channels viz., mobile, web is an added advantage
Worked in enterprise scale distributed agile programs having onshore and offshore teams
A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in collaboration within the team and with other teams at Client’s place
Solid oral/written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Required Education and Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or
8 years and a Master’s degree
Required Skills:
Familiarity with Linux or UNIX operating systems
Working knowledge of perl, python, mysql, groovy or other scripting languages
