Overview:
BI Business / Technical Systems Senior Analyst who will assist in business intelligence, analytics and reporting
Primary skill sets:
Informatica, OBIEE, SQL
Responsibilities:
Assist in working with business and technical teams to gather BI/DW and data integration related requirements from business users to create functional and technical requirements documents
Assist with architecture build and solution design for the ETL environment.
Assist with development of and enhancements to the ETL processes supporting data integrations for OBIEE from multiple source systems.
Communicate with business users and project managers at regular project status meetings.
Translate business requirements and source system understanding into technical design.
Develop and enhance Informatica ETL code.
Ensure Project deliverables are delivered on time.
Help in executing the Business Intelligence Vision and Strategy.
Qualifications:
6+ years job experience within the industry or consulting is preferred
4+ years of experience with Informatica Power Center 9.x or higher
2+ years using Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics Applications. Prefer experience with Finance, Order Management, Revenue Recogniton
Experience in performing conceptual, logical and physical data modeling in a highly complex environment.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing and master data Management and Governance practices
Knowledge of ETL processes and data management practices
Experience with Oracle Database Tools/Technologies (prefer Oracle R12)
Experienced in writing and understanding complex SQL code.
Experience with full lifecycle of Business Intelligence projects
Good written & oral communication and presentation skills in English.
Strong decision making and problem solving skills based on strong functional and technical knowledge.
Ability to work independently as well as being part of a team.
Ability to learn quickly.
Experience with Oracle’s OBIEE 10 or later (prefer recent, hands-on 11g or 12c experience): Dashboards, Scorecards, BI Publisher, etc.
Experience developing and maintaining the OBIEE repository.
Knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite (EBS
