Job Description :
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Otis Elevator Company global electronics commodity to maximize business value and results.
Responsibilities include complex operational and spend analysis, sourcing strategy, global supplier leadership, & operational support.
In collaboration with engineering, global entities, and key supplier partners, conduct market risk assessments, maintain global electronics component risk list, define risk mitigation actions by component, lead alternative component analysis, manage global allocations and purchase commitments to ensure continuity of supply.
Lead the strategy to maximize site participation in global electronics bid activity to drive financial and business benefit through UTC & Commercial synergy, utilizing the UTC & supply chain standard work & tools,collaborative sourcing systems & joint supplier selection process and lead the regional teams to ensure robust participation.
Lead the creation of clear commodity strategies, in cooperation with the regional and operations teams, including supplier responsibility, spend rationalization objectives & productivity initiatives at the global and/or regional levels.
Lead the development and deployment of global supplier strategies, in cooperation with UTC and regional & operations teams, to drive value through global supplier management, spend leverage, cost reduction projects, and standard work.
Analyze large data sets using MS Excel, MS Access or other analytical software, with ability to present results to leadership.
Develop and lead projects to implement the commodity and supplier strategies, and provide program leadership to ensure on-time completion with solid business results.
Develop and deploy market intelligence, and develop tools and risk assessment methods to strengthen data visibility, ongoing refresh of global risk, and the collaboration with engineering, regional supply chain and operations teams.
Maintain spend categorization codes in collaboration with sourcing system administrator validating the accuracy of data in the sourcing system and protocol for global JDE deployment for functional area of responsibility.
Manage compliance with policy.
In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for providing full compliance with the "UTC Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government" and the "UTC Code of Ethics.

Required Experience / Qualifications:
MA/MS degree with 7+ years experience
5+ years experience in electronics supply chain management
Ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and achieve results
Proven ability to lead a global team to achieve resultsAbility to excel in a dynamic environment & lead analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables
