Job Description :
To provide L1 DC h&f support in the data center.
Assign switch ports to specific VLANs
Patch phone ports to switch as needed
Perform packet traffic analysis for troubleshooting
Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches
Troubleshoot and replace chassis blades when required
Understanding of DCIM Application Management (preferably Struxureware)
A periodic (minimum twice weekly) visual check of the IDF rooms for cooling and power
status (specifically UPS alarms and PDU health)
Control-M, Netbackup, Tivoli Work Scheduler
HP OVO, Netcool, MOM
Batch monitoring and Job scheduling
Server Performance monitoring
Networking and Operating System basics

Knowledge of HP-Open View as Monitoring Tool
Basic knowledge of problem management tools like Remedy
Basic knowledge TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) as Backup tool
Basic knowledge about Hardware like Servers, Storage devices
Basic knowledge of Operating Systems- Windows 2003 servers Enterprise/Standard Edition.
Basic knowledge about Windows 2003 Active Directory structure, MS Exchange 2003 and
File/Print Server
Experience in SLA base environment
Experience in jobs scheduling and backup management.
Candidate should have minimum 3-5 year experience in above mentioned area.
