Job Description :
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
At least eight (8+) years of information technology work experience and experience architecting,
implementing, and/or managing virtual infrastructure environments

Position Requirements:
Experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, venter management suite, Site Recovery Manager, VRA, VROPS, VRNI, VRealize Log Insight
Experience with x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies including IBM, Dell, HP and Cisco
Basic experience with any of the storage platforms including NetApp, EMC, IBM, HP.
Knowledge of platform and network connectivity
Ability to work closely with customers
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Create, validate / review solutions and effort estimates for data centre transformation opportunities (Wintel, Virtualization and Servers) across the globe.
Migration & DR Tools (Plate Spin, Double Take)
Storage & Networking from Wintel & VMware Perspective
Responsible for technical, pricing and transformation solution end to end for the Infrastructure based towers (Wintel, Server Consolidation, Migration etc
Act as a single point of contact for any Architecture related work based on Wintel, VMware & Compute Technologies
Experience with Microsoft technologies including AD/File/Print/DNS/DHCP/DFS/Clustering/RDS
To develop, plan, design and Build VMware DRS, VMware HA, System Fault Tolerance, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning for Physical and Virtual Machines in Production and Non Production
To Develop, Plan, Design and Build patch management system for Windows and Virtualization using WSUS, SMS, SCCM VMware Update Manager.
In-depth knowledge on working of ESX Server & venter Server, MS Server 2012, Server 2008, VMware 6.5,6.0.5.5,5.0 etc.
To configure and build alert /alarms for Monitoring tool on Windows and Virtualization for MS Server’s 2012, 2008 and 2003 VMware 6.5,6.0.5.5,5.0 etc.,
Must have exposure to the cloud either Azure or AWS. Should have good understanding of the IaaS, PaaS Services and exposure on migrating the workload to Cloud.

Nutanix/HCI Experience:
Installation of Physical Nutanix nodes
Configuration of IPMI
Understanding of AOS(NOS) and Software Installation (Foundation)
Configure VMware cluster in Nutanix as Per Nutanix best practices
Nutanix Node Management in VMWARE
Patching ESXi Hosts in a Nutanix VMWARE Cluster
Installing and Configuration of CVM
Able to troubleshoot the CVM failure scenarios
Should able to monitor CVM health state is by Prism
Disaster Recovery and Backup integration with Nutanix
Understanding of Nutanix native features fine-grained VM centric snapshot
Configure Backup policies Via Prism interface
Experienced in replicating snapshots of individual VMs from a primary system to one or more
secondary systems at different sites.
Must be well versed in managing Prism Central, how to upgrade Prism Central, NCC, and individual clusters through Prism Central; and how to manage licenses.
Dashboard Views, how to create custom views in Prism Central
How to use the entity browser to view detailed information about VMs, containers, disks, and other entities across the registered clusters.
Should able to review and analyze current and potential resource needs in a Nutanix cluster.
Performance Monitoring describes how to monitor and analyze performance in a cluster.
Applications Management in Prism Central
Monitor alerts and events across the registered clusters and how to configure alert policies and notification.
Configure various system settings (NTP, SMTP, and so on) for Prism Central.
Configure user authentication, install SSL certificates, and manage (add, edit, and delete) local user accounts.
Administer individual clusters through Prism Central such as how to create and manage VMs.
Able to manage Prism Self Service Administration via self-service portal through Prism Central.
Policies Management should able to create and apply policies to manage and control access and operations in a cluster.
Able to create and run reports about infrastructure resources.
Should able to migrate the NON Nutanix Environment to NUTANIX VMWARE Cluster.

Qualifications:
Minimum three years consulting experience
Minimum five years of experience with virtualization solutions

One or more of the following certifications:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE
Must have Microsoft Azure or AWS Solution Architect Certified.
NSX Certified but not mandatory
Nutanix NPP 5.5
