Job Description :
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
Experience working with Data migration from teamcenter unified 8.3/legacy
systems to Teamcenter Unified 11.x.
Experience with data mapping between source and target systems
Experience with low level TC XML and PLM XML methods of Teamcenter Data
migration
Strong knowledge of TeamCenter CAD Data Management and integrations with NX.
Experience handling data migration for NX CATIA V5, CAD and Teamcenter BOM
Experience with Teamcenter 2-tier & 4-tier Architecture.
Knowledge and experience with PLM/XML for data migration is mandatory
Knowledge of Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Pro E wild fire, CATIA V5
Prior experience in informatica is added advantage
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills:
Good Knowledge of C, C++ & JAVA as a programming Language.
Experience in Teamcenter customization using ITK & JAVA.
Experience in working with BMIDE.
Experience on CAD data migration (Data Migration Specialist)
Experience on Legacy Data Migration (Data Migration Specialist)
Minimum Requirements:
Take ownership of design, development and testing of all data transformation,
extraction and migration activities.
Data extraction from existing Teamcenter Unified8.3 sites, Verify existing data in
Teamcenter Unified8.3 and extract metadata and CAD data from Teamcenter
Unified8.3
Very good hands on configuring mapping files for data migration
Analyzing the method of transforming existing data into a format for the new
environment and the loading of this data into other database structures.
Perform Data integrity check based on target data model, augment missing data
Reviewing existing migration tools and providing recommendations for improving
performance of the migration process.
Providing necessary change and support documentation.
Ensure that all ongoing data transformation, de-duplication, extraction and load
functions once ready for production deployment
Ensuring as part of the data migration that data quality, integrity and completeness is
maintained or improved and that duplicate entities are identified and removed
with data owners/power users to verify and obtain approval that any
transformed data retains its accuracy
