Job Description :
The Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the proper function of all SQL databases across the enterprise, as well as Sharepoint and its relevant integrations with SQL.
This position would function as the technical contact for the Business Intelligence and App Development teams to systems managed by Tech Services.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and support SQL servers and databases across the enterprise according to industry best practices.
Maintain the proper function of Sharepoint for the enterprise
Monitor those systems for health and proper function.
Act as the Technical Services representative for objectives led by the Business Intelligence and App Development teams as they pertain to SQL and Sharepoint.
Participate in emergency response team activities for various incidents.
Assist the team with overall system and environment stability efforts
Develop detailed proposals and plans for improvements to operations pertaining to the above-mentioned systems.
Recommend and evaluate tools for improved efficiency in the management and development of system solutions.
Fluency in powershell scripting and scheduled tasks
Requirements:
5 to 7 years of experience with SQL administration in a large scale IT environment, preferably gaming related.
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Information Technology (or related field)
Relevant technical certifications preferred
Ability to secure licenses with various state gaming commissions
Familiarity with highly virtualized server environments using VMWare.
Familiarity with SOX auditing policies and procedures.
