Job Description :
A Network Engineer with over 6+ years’ experience in network design, implementation and support with at least 2 years in 24x7 NOC environment
Multivendor platform experience – Cisco, Juniper, Brocade/Foundry, Aruba Wireless, VMware NSX.
Experience in at least 2 domains is required.
Certifications such as JNCIA/JNCIP, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, VCP/VCAP/VCDX, ACMA/ACMP are preferred.
Must present evidence of certification.

Responsibilities:
Provide 24x7 network operations and participate in on-call rotation with some evening and weekend work required as necessary.
Implementation and maintenance of LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center and related technologies
Monitor incident queue and take ownership or distribute to the team members tasks/tickets within the scope of this engagement.
Schedule and perform network maintenance, repair, and upgrade tasks as needed while limiting the impact on the production network.
Proactively contribute to documentation, automation and processes as requirement evolves.
Work closely with Network Engineering & Architecture, Logistics, and equipment vendors as new equipment and technologies are integrated into the production network.
Follow established escalation path, assist with the resolution of escalated issues and actively participate in problem management activities.
Cross-training other IT staff members in the maintenance or usage of the technology

Skills:
Experience and thorough knowledge with Routing & Switching technologies and protocols including OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, Multicasting, and CE to PE routing, VLAN Trunking, VTP, PVST, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, STP, GLBP
Experience with Cisco/Juniper/Brocade platform - including Juniper–EX2200-3300-4200-4300-4500, MX 480-960, SRX 220-240, QFX 3500-5100, Cisco Routers - 1700 -1800-2600-2800-3600-3700-3800-7200, Cisco Switches 2950, 2960, 3500, 4948, 6500
Hands on experience with Aruba/Cisco wireless networks including 6000, 7210, 7240 series controllers, Access points, Site-survey, Airwave, software upgrade, troubleshooting
Solid understanding of Data Center Technologies – Cisco Nexus 7000, Nexus 9000 (ACI and NON-ACI mode), Virtual Port Channel (vPC) Fabric Path, Virtual Device Contexts (VDCs), Fabric Path, OTV, VXLAN
Hands on experience with VMware NSX design and deployment (VCAP-VCIX certification preferred), vCenter, Knowledge to Python/Powershell/Ansible is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to configure, support and troubleshoot F5 big-IP Load balancer LTM/GTM load balancers and related issues.
Working experience with network management/monitoring tools including Cacti, Splunk, StatSeekerExperience working with service desk ticketing tool preferably Remedy/ServiceNow.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.
Excellent communication skills should be able to work with service providers and 3rd parties to coordinate and accomplish deliverables.
