Job Description :
Broad based knowledge and experience with Data Center technologies including:
Operating Systems including Windows, Linux and Unix
Enterprise storage technology: block / file storage, storage virtualization, fiber channel, iSCSI, NFS/CiFS, storage multi-pathing, compression, de-duplication and replication
SAN and NAS storage products from EMC, IBM, HP
Network protocols, products and design: ethernet, IP, switching, routing, firewalls/IPS, load balancers, WAN optimization
Enterprise security, access control, authentication, AD federation and privileged account management
X86 Hardware solutions from HP, VCE and IBM including converged infrastructure, rack and blade solutions
Virtualization technologies including ESXi, vSwitch operations, SRM (site recovery manager), vCloud (vRealize),
Data protection and disaster recovery solutions: backup/recovery, mirroring, active/standby, active/active
Familiarity with and exposure to enterprise class application integration requirements;
High availability architectures and clustering solutions (Oracle RAC, Veritas, etc
Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc. {{depending on specific project needs}}
