Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all DR procedures with a full understanding of their interdependencies
Assist with development of Business Impact Analysis for ITS managed Applications and annual review and updates in Catalyst
Partner and collaborate with each IT Service Line managers ensuring the disaster recovery (crisis management) and business continuity plans drive disaster recovery (DR) strategy and procedures
Ensure Disaster Recovery site is maintained and ready for use at all times, and that procedures are documented to support continuity of IT operations
Understand and develop all required testing for successful DR execution
Coordinate and lead all DR exercises, inclusive of tabletop exercises, simulated exercises and full DR testing
Deliver ongoing feedback regarding risk management, mitigation, and prevention
Represent disaster recovery cost requirements within the annual budgeting process
Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to upper management
Act as liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes
System Administration for EverBridge and Catalyst
Support compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances
Lead IT Departmental Emergency Operation Center (DEOC) and maintain IT DEOC Plan
Define, develop and maintain detailed DR communications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
7+ years of demonsrated experience dedicated to disaster recovery operations and management in a large complex IT organization
7+ years of experiences in IT operations in supporting Infrastructure and/or Software Solutions
7+ years of experiences in IT Project Management
Successfully developed and implemented business continuity program life cycle plans and source deliverables (e.g., risk assessments, BIAs, continuity planning)
Requires advanced knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies as well as the methods used in performing risk and business impact analysis
Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies.
Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks.
Advanced level of written and spoken English language
Broad knowledge of technology-related initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives.
Proven leadership ability. Effective problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to put forth persuasive arguments.
