We are seeking a passionate, driven, and energetic recruiter to join our growing team in Peoria, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for finding innovative and creative ways to identify, attract, recruit, and retain top talent for a variety of roles ranging from technicians to senior-level engineers and program managers.
Responsibilities:
Work with delivery team and sales team to fully understand the jobs that have been assigned to you to ensure that you are sourcing to meet the expectations of the end customer
Address any challenges in sourcing efforts with the delivery team to proactively seek out alternate means to identify and locate talent
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies related to the customers'' assigned to you, as well as best practices in the recruiting field to stay ahead and relevant to job seekers
Maintain relationships with agency partners to maintain a steady flow of relevant candidates for temporary / contract engagements as they are available
Develop strategies to create a pool of talent and a pipeline of interested and available candidates to bring on to L&T in full-time, permanent roles to support onsite activities
Utilize boolean search strings and SEO to maximize impressions for postings on job boards and accurately target key job seeker''s profiles housed within resume databases
Utilize the HRIS iCIMS to track data, profile submissions, candidate status, pending actions, and to create reports that can be used by management and business unit leadership to refine recruiting strategies and develop recruiting budget

Required Skills & Abilities:
More important than any other skills is a relentless desire to learn, and constantly improve - it is our philosophy that nearly all skills can be taught, but the desire to learn and for self-improvement is an absolute necessity for anyone on our Talent Acquisition team
Bachelor''s Degree in Human Resources, Management, or Marketing is preferred; however relevant work experience and skills will be reviewed in lieu of formal education
Three (3) or more years of hands-on recruitment experience in which you sought out highly specialized individuals to fill niche roles in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Ability to interface with technology easily and effectively:
Strong data entry skills
Highly proficient with internet, social media, and searching
Prior knowledge of iCIMS tool is a plus, similar tool use such as Taleo, Kronos, MyStaffingPro, ADP, Workable, etc
Proficient in MS Office suite of software - Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills to provide our candidates and internal teams prompt responsiveness and timely feedback
Able to organize time effectively to address multiple competing deadlines and priorities
Able to organize work effectively to ensure timely responses and escalation to adhere to SOPs as required
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to work remotely with key stakeholders to various projects located off-site and even outside the country
Familiarity with highly skilled roles in Automotive, Aerospace, Off-Highway, Medical Devices, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Manufacturing, Digital Manufacturing, Robotics, AI, IT, High-Tech, IoT, Telecoms, Infotainment, Telematics, etc
Able to effectively use templates and "plug-and-play" tools for mass communication, increased velocity
Able to maintain energy and enthusiasm while reaching out to multiple parties each day
Able to negotiate salary, benefits, and terms of employment effectively
