Job Description :
FAI Quality Engineer - Mechanical
Min 6 - 8 year of exp
Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances
Verify the current FAI reports against the specification requirements
Understands and drafts the First article inspection requirements for the given parts
Verify dimensional and functional inspection results against specification
Mechanical: Completed complex machined, cast, molded or fabricated parts, Electro-mechanical, and mechanical assemblies
Ensures parts meet design specifications, test & quality requirements and notifies the suppliers of approved or non-approved results
Documents inspection results gaps, problems and concerns then notifies to the Supplier
Propose appropriate and cost effective solutions for the gaps identified in discussion with cross functional team
Responds to and communicates with Supplier and Product Management Team inquiries in a timely, clear, concise and comprehensive manner
Teamwork and ability to work effectively across functional groups and teams to ensure requirements are met
Ability to make independent and objective decisions and to work with minimal supervision
