Job Description :
This is a completely home based position. which requires 60-70% of Travel in regional.

5 years minimum Home-Based Regional Monitoring experience (working from their home-office)
o A mix of direct Pharma, small/large CRO is preferred
3 years minimum monitoring oncology studies of the 5 years of monitoring experience (5 years preferred)
o This does not include time as a study coordinator, nurse, etc.
o Must be multiple ongoing studies (not just here and there focus or co-monitoring)
o Medsource and their Sponsors ask very in depth specific questions during the interview so if they are not strong/very confident in their experience they will not move forward
Indicate number of oncology studies/protocols monitored, broken down by phase and number of sites
o Medsource wants early phase (I-II) experience (if they are more on III-IV they are not a fit)
Indicate number of hematology studies, broken down by phase and number of sites
o Indicate specific oncology tumor types (renal cancer, breast cancer, multiple myeloma, etc
Provide number of years of indications and where they focused on each
Define what CTMS/EDC systems they have experience with including where they worked with each system
o Medsource works with multiple sponsors so a variety of system experience is very helpful and preferred (they are not a large CRO with standardize processes all the time due to their client needs They have to be able to adapt to changing systems and sponsor requirements.
Excellent writing skills. This is critical for a CRA in documenting trip reports. Their writing skills will be assessed during the interview process.
Self-Starter. They must have attributes to think for themselves. Medsource has high expectations for their people to think on their feet, ask questions and/or seek guidance- not just perform.
Have they worked at MD Anderson? Include in the summary and list the experience gained there. MD Anderson is a very good Oncology site to work at.
