Job Description :
Role: Sr. CPE Test Engineer (TR069)
Location: Denver, CO
Responsible for testing and validation of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and backend systems affecting CPE. The engineer will execute testing for certification of CPE devices, help with escalations from the field, and create and maintain related documentation. Additional areas of technical focus will be on TR-069 and Wi-Fi Protocols.
Requirements:
TR-069 (Used in Remote management of CPE devices)
Knowledge in wireless communication protocols 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
Knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT) and understanding of DOCSIS and provisioning
Understanding for Wireless LAN Security, PPPoE, MIMO, QOS Prioritization, Wireless/Wired Network troubleshooting.
Candidates should have hands-on experience on network engineering experience, preferably with a Cable Multiple System Operator (MSO) or Internet Service Provider (ISP
Candidates must have a thorough understanding of DOCSIS and provisioning, including TR069 and Wi-Fi Protocols testing experience; Understanding of Fiber-to-the-Premise is a plus.
Hands-on experience with CMTS configuration via CLI commands is strongly desired.
Experience with test case management, test methodology and tools are required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
