Required Skills:
Full life-cycle development experience supporting applications written in CA Gen
Experience programming in CA Gen version 8.5
Experience programming with IBM mainframe DB2
Experience programming with MQ Series
Experience programming in IBM mainframe COBOL
Experience with structured system development methodologies, preferably waterfall method
Experience in data transfer and interface methodologies between mainframes and mainframe to servers in a statewide environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-IT business users
Ability to develop relationships/ partnerships with customers
Extensive expertise conducting problem analysis and issue resolution
Experience installing, configuring, monitoring, supporting/maintaining and developing applications in a mainframe environment
Desired Skills:
Experience performing business requirements definitions, reviewing functional specifications, developing test plans, & performing application testing
Excellent written skills including experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel)
Experience with test environment design, setup, load, and refresh concepts and procedures
Experience with IRS publication 1075 concepts and procedures.
Experience developing in an environment that includes the following development tools: CICS, EZTrieve+,Zeke, X/PTR, Endevor, & CA Tools & Utilities.
Knowledge of IBM Websphere Enterprise Service Bus
