Title: CNC Machine Programmer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Parsippany, New Jersey
Visa Types: USC/GC/EAD GC
Local W2 candidates Only
Responsibilities:
Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM, Solidworks and MasterCam or other software. This could include milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM.
Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor
Provide CNC related support to manufacturing engineers
Provide operator training during new / rebuilt machine startup and / or process improvements
Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor
Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CNC related issues
Support and implement tooling & fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree with 3 years of experience in CNC machining or at least 7 years of experience in CNC machining
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated proficiency programming CNC 5-axis machines and multiple types of CNC machines
Strong problem solving and organization skills, with above average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry
Experience using the Mastercam and Solidworks
Knowledge of machining high temperature alloys used in gas turbines
Ability to accept new challenges, take ownership, and make decisions
Ability to multi-task and productively manage multiple projects concurrently
