Please make sure candidate’s recent two projects are as core Cloudera Admin (not a mixture of Hortonworks or Cloudera) Along with submission, ask the candidate to share a small write up on their experience as Cloudera Admin.

Rate: $70/hr c2c
Time period: 6+ months (C2C)
Start Date: ASAP.
Mode of Interview: Skype/Whats App call.
Minimum 7-8 years of overall experience and 3 years as a Cloudera Hadoop engineer with certification
· Analyzes, designs, creates and implements Cloudera infrastructures, including access methods, device allocations, validation checks, organization and security.
· Must have 1-2 Cloudera platforms and workloads migration from On premise to On premise or On premise to Cloud (AWS)
· Should be a strong Cloudera admin with experience in Cloudera Manager, Cloudera Navigator, KUDU, HDFS/HIVE and spinning the cluster and enterprise level security and compliance handling
· Designs data models, logical and physical infrastructure designs, etc.
· Assists in system planning, scheduling, and implementation
· Initiates corrective actions to stay on schedule
· Installs, upgrades, and tests complex big data deployments.
· Develops and implements recovery plans and procedures.
· Disciplines: Hadoop design and analysis.
· Solid administrative knowledge of Apache Hadoop a must (Cloudera distribution a plus)
· Experience with database replication and scaling
· Design, install, and maintain highly available systems (including monitoring, security, backup, and performance tuning)
· Linux (RHEL) proficiency a must
· Scripting experience
· Automation experience (chef/puppet)
· Must possess good analytics and problem solving skills
· Must be willing to work flexible hours
