Job Description:

Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration Engineer

Our client is modernizing its enterprise automation deployment processes with tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Urbancode.
The ideal candidate will understand Java and .NET environments.
We are looking to help fast track the software and infrastructure deployment process by introducing modern automation.
The candidate should expect and want to learn new technologies on top of his/her core knowledge base.

Must be on-site requires hands-on work with on-site development teams across the enterprise.

Additional needs for this role:

• Strong O/S knowledge with Linux/Unix.
• Java technologies: Core Java, WAS, JUNIT
• Familiarity with middleware, networking, and Windows Server O/S.
• Other Framework/Technologies: Maven and/or Gradle.

• Deployment knowledge.
• Infrastructure Automation experience, ideally scripting via Ansible.
• Testing Automation experience.

• Ability to identify issues, support and provide real time solutions for them.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to logically analyze and creatively solve complex issues independently
• Demonstrated understanding of industry standards, technologies, methodologies and best practices
• Exposure to scrum/agile practices preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written to multiple levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal / team skills.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and deploying continuous integration / continuous delivery ( CICD ) tooling and automation infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
