Position : Big Data Engineer

Job Description


1. Master''s degree in computer science and/or computer system information.
2. At least 8+ years IT experience
- software engineering experience (object-oriented design, coding and testing patterns)
- experience in engineering software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures (JEE, Web services)
3. Experience in any one of the framework( Cloudera or Hortonworks )
4. At least 5+ years of experience in Hard code engineering and operating Hadoop environments.
Experience with cluster and network security – Kerberos
Database knowledge – Good to have
Hardcode understanding of IT and engineering
Strong experience in DevOps and Problem solving

Key Core Skills:

1. In depth experience in full life-cycle of a Hadoop solution including creating the requirements analysis, the platform selection, design of the technical architecture, design of the application design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solution
2. Hands-on skills in Linux (scripting)
3. Applied understanding of Hadoop security (POSIX, HDFS ACLs, YARN scheduler QoS, Sentry)
4. Worked on least one big data project solution end to end and involved in technical solution architecture preferably in fast data architecture and/or DWH port to Hadoop
5. Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure preferably Microsoft is beneficial
