Job Description :
Role: Sr. Network Voice Engineer
Duration: 3 Month Contract/Contract to Hire
Location: Lincolnshire, IL

Sr. Voice/Network Engineer will be supporting enterprise voice and data technologies with a focus on voice services including Cisco CUCM, CME, Microsoft Skype, 8X8, Sonus, and InContact Contact Solutions. Participating in architecture design, requirements gathering, planning, implementation, testing and troubleshooting. Telephony system maintenance, upgrades, and security patching as required while following change management process. Ensure voice and data services meet or exceed enterprise performance and availability objectives. Responsible for troubleshooting and configuring multi-vendor telephony solutions including Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, H.323 Gateways, SIP, SBC’s.
Engineer should be capable of supporting voice technologies end to end including routing and firewalls that the flow may traverse.

Other responsibilities will include support of the network infrastructure including Zebra MPLS and DMVPN networks routing the VoIP services. Partnering with external vendors in support of VoIP and network environments and resources. This senior role will also provide guidance and training to L2 resources. Development of documentation, process and procedures for global network team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years’ experience in Cisco VoIP solutions
Cisco CCNP
Provide on-site and on-call 24x7 support as needed in Lincolnshire, IL HQ and nearby offices
Hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager and Unity – CUCM 8.6+, Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco voice router and SRST call routing.
Experience with VoIP Technologies such as H.323, SIP, MGCP gateway configuration.
Skype for Business
Proficiency with troubleshooting voice infrastructure including MPLS and DMVPN WAN
VoIP QoS on MPLS, DMVPN and Firewalls
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management

Cisco CCVP
Cisco CCIE R&S
Cisco ASA and FirePower configuration for VoIP including VoIP bypass or trust
