Role Name: C Programming Developer
Location: GROTON, CT
Role Description:
Degree in a scientific, technology and/or business discipline, with 5+ years of working experience within clinical trials.
4+ years’ experience with Java application programming including database(J2EE,JDBC) and client side GUI(Java for desktop applications and HTML5/Javascript for web based)
Proficiency using advanced UNIX commands and shell environments (ksh,bash)
Proficiency in advanced unix shell scripting using sed,awk,grep,egrep etc.
A strong knowledge of unix operating system and networking fundamentals
Demonstrated experience with relational databases(preferably Oracle) and intermediate SQL knowledge
Must have prior experience with all phases of application programming and demonstrated knowledge in the software implementation lifecycle and specific programming languages.
Ensure that project deliverables meet industry best practices
Essential Skills:
Application development using Java and Unix shell scripting.
This position is responsible for assisting in development and deployment of applications in data acquisition space.
Provide application programming support.
Provide technical expertise in developing and implementing application
Desirable Skills:
Strong programming skills, (J2EE,JDBC) and client side GUI(Java for desktop applications and HTML5/Javascript for web based)
