Job Description:
5+ years of experience in C, C++ and Java
Knowledge of system development methodologies Dev Ops and Agile along with JIRA/Confluence.
RESTful service design and implementation Java 8, including lambdas and streams JavaEE 6 at a minimum, 7 preferred Java asynchronous I/O programming Junit 4+ Python Javascript CORBA SQL
Must have Linux and shell scripting
Experience using debugger tools GDB and Valgrind also desired
Knowledge of subtending systems important as is knowledge of telecommunication architecture
Knowledge on TeMIP as the subtending tool to monitor our legacy transport network
Experience in implementing solutions architecture by building micro components/services, custom designs ensuring technical integrity and alignment with the business
Ability to identify, analyze, recommend and implement improvements in system architectures and facilitate developing of reusable components
Ability to perform design, code and test plan reviews to ensure IT development meets the needs of the business
Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to solve complex problems creatively and make decisions
Build strong internal or external customer relationships and manage high level expectations at all levels
